The Drum taps Hein as U.S. editor

Kenneth Hein

The Drum has appointed Kenneth Hein as its new U.S. editor to lead “U.S. coverage for The Drum as it dials up its commitment to providing solutions that help its readers make better business decisions.”

Previously, Hein was U.S. chief communications officer at Dentsu Aegis Network where he led external and internal communications and created effective global strategic communications platforms. Before that, he held the post of global chief communications officer at Gyro.

Hein has also served as director of communications at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide and worked as managing editor at Nielsen Business Media, including Adweek, Brandweek, The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard.

He is also the recipient of a D&AD Pencil, the Jesse H. Neal Award for Excellence in Journalism, the Ad Club President’s Award as well as numerous other accolades.

Hein has also served on the New York Festivals Public and Media Relations Grand Jury, twice, as well as The Drum PR and B2B Brave Awards Juries.
