“The Bloomberg Way” is the stylebook for journalists at Bloomberg News, and it’s an almost mythical book in business journalism.
Few people outside of Bloomberg have seen it. It’s given to you when you’re hired, and copies rarely leave the hands of its workers. Talking Biz News could not even find an image of the book on Google.
But now, a Bloomberg employee points out, there’s a copy for sale on Amazon.com.
At the low price of $1,490.99. (The version for sale is the 1998 version, not the latest version, which is from 2009.)
The Bloomberg staffer who alerted Talking Biz News of the Amazon sale said she’d let hers go for the sale price of $999. Another Bloomberg staffer said she’d take $950.
