The Bloomberg column proliferation

Bloomberg News is known for its daily coverage of business news. But it’s been expanding its reach into daily columns about business and financial news topics as well.

There are now daily columns for auto, bankruptcy, tech, commodities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, freight, options and the credit of virtually every major country in the world, including Israel.

The proliferation of the columns worries some staffers at Bloomberg, who fear that the columns are taking the news service away from its bread and butter, which is daily news coverage.
