The Knoxville News Sentinel in Tennessee announced that Roger Harris (right) has been named business editor and Josh Flory has been named assistant business editor.
A story on its website states, “Harris, 58, has covered business news for more than 20 years for newspapers in Tennessee, Kentucky and California, including the last six years as assistant business editor at the News Sentinel. He previously worked nine years as tech editor and business writer for the Ventura County Star in Southern California.
“Earlier in his career, Harris covered local government and education for the News Sentinel from 1981-1990.
“Flory, 36, has worked five years as a business reporter at the News Sentinel, winning several awards during that time, including a Best in Business award from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers. He will continue to write the popular Property Scope blog, which focuses on real estate and development issues.
“Flory previously covered commercial real estate for the Nashville Business Journal and covered politics and state government for the Columbia (Mo.) Daily Tribune.”
