Engine MHP, a public relations agency, has tapped Alan Tovey as director.
He starts Nov. 15.
Tovey spent the past 14 years as a business journalist, most recently as industry editor of The Daily Telegraph. Before that, he held the posts of city news editor and production journalist.
His arrival at the agency follows other hires in the capital markets team, including Alex Janiaud from the Financial Times, who started as a senior account manager in March.
