The Public Relations Society of America is seeking entries for the PRSA Technology Section’s Awards for Excellence in Technology Journalism.
The awards recognize technology journalists who have published articles that show value, show clarity in the communication, and are significant in disclosing, explaining, interpreting and reporting innovation and recognizing newsworthiness.
The awards recognize technology journalists in two categories with articles published between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31 of last year. One award is for excellence in technology journalism in a trade, technical, industrial or professional publication serving a technology industry or audience.
A second award is for excellence in technology journalism in a general or business media source. Published articles are judged by peer-interest journalists, according to the PRSA. The two winners win $1,000 and a trophy, as well as a trophy for each organization that published the winning story. Journalists must submit applications before the March 27 deadline.
Award presentations will take place at a special awards ceremony at the PRSA Technology Section Conference on June 9 in New York.
