Consumer technology reporter Hayley Tsukayama is leaving the Washington Post after eight years.
Tsukayama is joining the Electric Frontier Foundation, a nonprofit digital rights group. Her last day at the Post is Friday.
A Minnesota native, she joined The Post in 2010 after completing her master’s degree with a concentration in public policy journalism from the University of Missouri. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College in history and Japanese.
Tsukayama lives in the Bay Area. She twice interned for the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
