Brad Foss, the deputy business editor at the Associated Press, sent out the following announcement to the staff:
BIZ crew:
Some of you already know, but wanted to share the news more widely…
Brandon Bailey will be leaving AP at the end of this week.
It has been great having Brandon help beef up our technology coverage over the past two years and we are sorry to see him go.
But after 35 years in journalism, Brandon has decided to try something new.
He will be working as a writer, editor and all-around web content guy for De Anza College, a public community college in Silicon Valley.
Please join me in wishing Brandon well.
