InsideHPC Media has appointed veteran technology journalist Doug Black as editor-in-chief.
Black succeeds the late Rich Brueckner, who purchased the property in 2010 from founding publisher and editor John West, who is now director of strategic initiatives at the Texas Advanced Computing Center, University of Texas at Austin.
Black has been a technology and business writer since 1985 and has been involved with the HPC community since 1991. He has also worked on several technology announcements and media campaigns in support of companies, including Intel.
He has also held the post of managing editor at EnterpriseAl, a publication of Tabor Communications. There, he covered the intersection of HPC and AI in commercial and industrial organizations.
