Zoe Sagalow has been hired as a reporter for Tax Analysts, covering general assignment federal tax stories for Tax Notes Today.
Her supervisor is Tom Kasprzak, a Tax Notes Today news editor.
“I am very excited for this position because I had hoped to cover business topics that intersect with policy and politics and affect consumers as well as firms,” said Sagalow in an email to Talking Biz News. “This position will include reporting and writing as well as data analysis and visualization.”
Sagalow recently graduated from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, where she was mentored in business journalism by Rob Wells. In December, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Sagalow had an American City Business Journals / Dow Jones News Fund business reporting internship last summer at the Washington Business Journal.
