The Tampa Tribune is looking for a highly skilled business editor to direct coverage of Tampa’s dynamic business community. This person will produce daily business pages, a Sunday business section and oversee daily and enterprise reporting.
The business editor will ensure that we break news first on TBO.com and showcase our distinctively unique print stories on Page 1A, Metro and Business.
Must demonstrate ability in motivation and leadership, agility in problem-solving, strong news judgment, good listening and communication skills. Must be able to work as a team with peers and direct reports.
Minimum of five years experience in leading a group of reporters and editing content at a daily news operation. Business editing experience is required.
