Jeff Harrington, the business editor of the Tampa Bay Times, is joining Bloomberg BNA in Monday to help run its tax coverage.
Harrington had been business editor since December 2016. He has been at the Times since 1998, primarily as a reporter.
A Notre Dame graduate, Harrington previously worked at the Cincinnati Enquirer, where he covered Procter & Gamble. He also worked at The Blade in Toledo, Ohio, and at the City News Bureau of Chicago.
He has received numerous awards for business and metro writing, including recognition by the Society of Professional Journalists, the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, and the Associated Press, among others.
Harrington was a past finalist and a winner of a Gerald Loeb Award honoring the best business writing in the country and his work has been included in the Best Business Stories of the Year series.
