Mic reporter Kelsey Sutton has been hired by Adweek to cover technology.
She starts next week and will be based in New York.
Sutton had been at Mic for the past year, focusing broadly on the media and on media and politics. She’ll be the first writer at Mic dedicated to covering the media.
Before that, she was a reporter at Politico.
Sutton was originally hired at Political/Capital New York as Dow Jones business news fellowship intern. She then joined Capital New York full time to report on mergers and acquisitions and the business side of media. She also wrote for its morning newsletter, Politico Media Pro, for subscribers.
Sutton is a University of Maryland graduate.
