Sustainable finance editor Chasan departs Bloomberg

Emily Chasan

Emily Chasan, a sustainable finance editor at Bloomberg covering responsible investing, ESG, sustainability, impact investing and corporate governance, has left the company to join Generate as director of communications.

During her more than four-year tenure with Bloomberg, she also wrote and edited the weekly Good Business newsletter for Bloomberg Green.

Previously, she was senior editor at The Wall Street Journal covering accounting and capital markets for CFO Journal. She also worked at Thomson Reuters for three years, joining as a bankruptcy/restructuring team leader and accounting correspondent.

Later on, she held the post of senior hedge fund correspondent at the company.

Even prior to these posts, Chasan was working at Reuters, where she served numerous posts, including news assistant and company news reporter, stock market reporter and accounting and legal reporter.
