The trial to determine who killed Forbes editor Paul Klebnikov in Russia started in Moscow on Thursday, but two of the defendants failed to show for the hearing, according to the New York Times.
“Mr. Klebnikov, an American citizen of Russian ancestry, was shot to death outside his office in July 2004. He was one in a series of journalists before and since who have died in unsolved circumstances in Russia.”
