Suburban Chicago business newspaper to have new look in September

The Oak Brook Business Ledger will unveil a redesigned newspaper in September that will also include a new nameplate and a smaller size.

Other changes, according to a story in the latest issue, include:

  • four-color throughout, with all photos in color as well as charts and other “info-graphicsâ€? that will draw readers into stories and, it is hoped, offer more in-depth explanations.
  • highlights of key inside stories on page 1 as well as an index of regular features to make it easier to find your favorites.
  • easy-to-find labels with major inside stories so readers will immediately know what industry or profession an article focuses on.
  • regular featured pages or columns by Business Ledger writers featuring news and information on the area’s key industries like health care, the environment, technology, banking and finance, commercial/office real estate, education, media, hospitality, advertising and marketing, chambers of commerce, and non-profits.
