Anna-Louise Jackson, a stocks reporter for Bloomberg News, has left the news organization for a job at personal finance site NerdWallet.

“NerdWallet is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the country because we make personal finance easier for consumers to navigate. We’re increasingly integrating user-friendly content and tools to help them make better decisions,” said Maggie Leung, vice president of content at NerdWallet, in an email to Talking Biz News. “To do that, we need talented journalists like Anna to work alongside our terrific designers and engineers. We continue to hire on all fronts.”

Jackson has been a reporter at Bloomberg since April 2011. She wrote enterprise stories about various sectors, highlighting company-specific data and stock performance to identify shifts within the U.S. economy. She also co-authored Bloomberg’s exclusive EcoPulse column.

For the past 17 months, Jackson has been on the stocks team. She also worked a year as a rankings analyst for Bloomberg.

Jackson has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree from Northwestern University. While there, she interned for the International Herald Tribune in Paris.
