Stephen Adler, senior vice president and editorial director for the Thomson Reuters professional division, sent out the following announcement Tuesday afternoon:
“I’m delighted to announce that Amy Stevens, formerly a senior editor at The Wall Street Journal and Conde Nast Portfolio, is joining my team as Executive Editor of Thomson Reuters Professional News. In this role, Amy will work to build a world-class news operation to benefit customers of Thomson Reuters Legal, Tax & Accounting and Healthcare & Science businesses.

“As lead editor of the new Thomson Reuters Professional NewsCenter, Amy will work closely with me and with new Chief Operating Officer Mike Bender to leverage and customize Reuters News to serve Thomson Reuters Professional customers, create additional, high-value journalism within the Professional division, and collaborate with our division colleagues to enhance current products and develop powerful new offerings. With Amy and Mike on board, I’m more excited than ever about the opportunities ahead.”
