Caleb Stephens, the managing editor of the Dayton Business Journal, has been promoted to editor.
He replaces Don Baker, who became publisher of the American City Business Journals publication.
Baker writes, “‘We have a great news team here at the Dayton Business Journal that provides vital business intelligence to the Dayton business community,’ Stephens said. ‘I’m excited to lead this creative and innovative group.’
“A Dayton native, Stephens is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in English. He has won numerous journalism awards throughout his career for his time as a reporter and as an editor.
“‘Caleb has been involved in every aspect of the news operation for more than a decade and has great ties to the local community as he was born and raised here,’ Baker said. ‘He is highly respected both internally and out in the business community. His talents and vision will help the news team continue the strong level of performance that has earned it high regard.'”
