Wired staff writer Megan Molteni has ben hired by STAT News.
She will start next month.
Molteni will cover the biology revolution, including big DNA data, genetic medicine and Crispr.
At Wired, she has been covering biotechnology, public health, and genetic privacy. Previously, she freelanced as a reporter, audio producer, and fact-checker. Her work has appeared in Popular Science, Discover, Undark, Nautilus, and Aeon.
She studied biology at Carleton College and has a graduate degree in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
