The Minneapolis Star-Tribune has hired Nick Williams as a reporter on the business news desk.
He will be covering entrepreneurs, a universe that includes everything from small, independently owned businesses to venture-capital backed startups.
Williams previously was a reporter at the Milwaukee Business Journal, where he covered the business of sports, housing industry, transportation, venture capital, entrepreneurs and technology.
He also previously worked at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, where he covered the housing market, manufacturing industry, food and beverage production industry, Minnesota airports, airline industry, diversity in business and minority-owned business.
Williams also worked as a sports reporter at the Tampa Tribune and as a news reporter at the Bradenton (Fla.) Herald.
He is a graduate of Marquette University.
