St. Louis Biz Journal publisher Miller is retiring

Patricia Miller

Patricia Miller, the publisher and former editor in chief of the St. Louis Business Journal, is retiring next month.

A story on its website states, “She joined the Business Journal as a list researcher in February 1986 and was later a reporter and associate editor. She became editor in 1996 and was named publisher and market president two decades later.

“‘Throughout an exemplary 32-year career with ACBJ, Trish helped make the St. Louis Business Journal one of our top performers,’ said Whitney Shaw, CEO of American City Business Journals, parent company of the St. Louis Business Journal. ‘As you can tell, it would be virtually impossible to overstate her contributions to ACBJ as well as the St. Louis Business Journal and the community it serves.’

“A search for Miller’s successor is underway.

“‘Trish’s leadership both in the newsroom and as publisher have made the Business Journal an important voice in the St. Louis business community,’ said Mike Olivieri, executive vice president of American City Business Journals. ‘Trish’s deep-rooted knowledge of the St. Louis business community and passion for our mission will be missed and impossible to replace.'”
