St. Louis Biz Journal hires Drew as reporter

James Drew

James Drew has joined the St. Louis Business Journal as a reporter, covering money and workforce in St. Louis and the region.

Recently, he was a state government reporter for the four McClatchy news websites/newspapers in Washington state. Before that, he has also reported for the Houston Chronicle, The Dallas Morning News, and The Baltimore Sun.

He has also served as statehouse bureau chief at The (Toledo) Blade.

Drew has won several awards, including best investigative report award from the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors.

Drew is a graduate of Indiana University, with degrees in journalism and political science.
