Jason Rainbow has been hired by SpaceNews to cover the telecommunications industry.
Rainbow was formerly group editor-in-chief at the Finance Information Group, where he oversaw the publication Connectivity Company, previously SatelliteFinance and TelecomFinance.
“Jason carries a wealth of expertise and knowledge to SpaceNews at a time when the global space sector is experiencing rapid change,” stated Brian Berger, SpaceNews editor-in-chief, in a statement. “His deep knowledge of the forces realigning the market climate for current and developing space players will help SpaceNews readers in online and print.”
SpaceNews is read by government leaders, lawmakers, and executives. It covers civil, military, and commercial space, as well as the satellite communications industry.
