Ellie Potter, a reporter with S&P Global Market Intelligence, will transition and will now be covering federal energy policy pertaining to power, gas and oil.
Previously, she was covering coal and mining.
Before joining S&P, Potter was a reporter with the Daily News-Record and The Dickinson Press. She has also served as an editorial intern at Transitions Online and Real Clear Politics.
Potter has also held other posts, such as online lead writer, broadcast intern, including also working as an editorial intern for the Washington Examiner and Richmond magazine.
Potter received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Richmond and a master’s degree in energy policy and climate from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs.
