The South Florida Business Journal, which has had its main office in Fort Lauderdale, is moving its headquarters to Miami.
Brian Bandell of the Business Journal writes, “‘There is so much growth and so much business happening in Miami that we felt it is very important that the Business Journal have a stronger presence near many of the most prominent companies and business leaders that permeate our news coverage,’ said Melanie Dickinson, president and publisher of the South Florida Business Journal.
“Dickinson said she’s excited about the new office space being designed to host many of the Business Journal’s events – including Executive Roundtables, Critical Conversations and Breakfast with the Business Journal – that its readers have come to rely on for business intelligence throughout the years.
“‘The Miami office puts us closer to some of our most trusted sources and the news our readers need to know,’ Editor-in-Chief Al Lewis said. ‘It’s another way for us to get deeper into the South Florida region we cover.'”
