Keith Larsen, the South Florida Business Journal’s money reporter, has resigned to accept a job with The Real Deal.
He starts his new job in two weeks writing trend stories. He will continue to be based in Miami.
The Real Deal covers real estate news and has websites for the New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Chicago markets.
At the Business Journal, Larsen covered banking, wealth and finance, investments, fraud, private equity firms, economic development and insurance.
Larsen previously had been a reporter for Greenbiz.
Larsen earned his master’s in mass communication from the UNC-Chapel Hill. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, where he majored in in finance and minored in journalism.
