Celia Ampel, a recent graduate of the University of Missouri, has been hired by the South Florida Business Journal to cover technology and venture capital stories.
Ampel worked this summer as an intern on the Miami Herald business news desk. She graduated from Missouri earlier this year.
Ampel has also interned on the business news desk of the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the business news desk of the Oklahoman in Oklahoma City.
This past year, she was also a business reporter for the Jefferson City News Tribune in Jefferson City, Mo.
