The South Florida Business Journal has hired Julian Quintana as its new hospitality reporter.
Managing editor Emon Reiser writes, “He will cover companies and executives across the tri-county region’s sprawling tourism sector. His beat includes cruise lines, airlines, restaurants and retailers.
“‘I’m excited about covering hospitality and tourism, which is such an important industry in South Florida,’ Quintana said. ‘The fact that I get to do it from Miami makes it even sweeter.’
“Quintana, a Miami native, is a graduate of Florida International University’s Bachelor of Science in Communications/Journalism program.
“He is a multimedia journalist fluent in Spanish with experience in video and radio news, including a recent stint at WLRN, where he reported on Latin American affairs, Florida government, arts and culture, and immigration.”
