The South Florida Business Journal has hired Eman Elshahawy as its new data reporter, reports associate editor Eileen Cukier.
Cukier reports, “Elshahawy, a native of Fort Myers, will oversee planning, surveying and analyzing information for the Business Journal’s popular weekly lists, as well as write stories based on data from the lists and other research.
“‘I’m so pleased about joining this award-winning team,’ Elshahawy said. ‘I love working with data, and can’t wait to work on our lists and use that data to show how the companies we cover impact the business community.’
“A Miami resident, Elshahawy is a graduate of University of Florida’s journalism and communications program.”
