Jodi Xu Klein has been promoted to deputy bureau chief of North America at the South China Morning Post,.
In the new role, she will help direct daily and long-term editorial coverage. She continues to lead reporting on business, investments and technology against the backdrop of the U.S.-China relations.
Klein joined South China Morning Post’s New York office in late 2017 to cover the impact of the changing global investment landscape on M&A, and private equity and venture capital, as well as the fast-changing tech sector in Silicon Valley and in China.
She previously reported for Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal and Time Magazine.
The Morning Post established its U.S. bureau in early 2017 and has expanded to a 17-person team, with reporters in New York, Washington and Vancouver.
