The Greenville News in South Carolina has hired Kirk Brown to cover growth and development.
Executive editor Steve Bruss writes, ” I’ve worked with Kirk since late 2016, and I’m excited about this change for him and for you. Kirk brings tremendous experience, and he is a dogged reporter driven by a sense of fairness and objectivity. I expect more great things from Kirk as he strives to tell the story of Greenville county’s growth.”
Brown has been working at the Anderson Independent Mail, also in South Carolina, since 2010. Both papers are owned by Gannett.
His primary interests include watchdog journalism and coverage of government and politics.
