Caleb Bauer is the new economic development and business reporter at the South Bend Tribune in Indiana.
He started on Monday. Bauer replaces Erin Blasko, who left for a job in public relations at the University of Notre Dame.
The Tribune has a four-person business news desk.
Bauer had been at The Commercial Review in Portland, Indiana, as a city reporter for the past 15 months. There he covered crime, courts, and local government for the three major municipalities in Jay County — Portland, Dunkirk and Redkey.
Bauer graduated from Indiana University in 2016 with a degree in history and a certificate in journalism.
