Joshua Sophy has been hired as editor of Small Business Trends.
In his new role, Sophy will be managing the daily publishing operations for Small Business Trends.
He will also be aiding business owners on recent developments that could impact them and their businesses. He will also be overseeing the delivery of all content to the site, leading a global editorial team located in the U.S., Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Before being promoted to post of editor, Sophy served as writer and subsequently assistant editor.
He initially started his career as a sports reporter, going on to cover local news before publishing his own local newspaper.
Sophy said:
“I am thrilled to be part of the Small Business Trends team. I have worked in various newspaper and journalism roles and find this to be a rewarding career. This opportunity enables me to continue my professional growth, work with some extremely talented people, and serve small business owners by informing them in a balanced way about issues of the day. I can think of no better place to be than with Small Business Trends.”
