Former Skift editorial intern Isaac Carey will join a team of familiar faces as the publication’s full-time travel business reporter.
Carey, a Newmark School of Journalism at CUNY graduate, will cover corporate travel and meetings, according to Skift’s editor-in-chief Tom Lowry.
Carey also interned at the Financial Times and The Hechinger Report; was a copywriter for the corporate catering company Savory; and a freelance journalist for CKUT Radio. He holds an undergraduate degree from McGill University.
Skift is also promoting Andrew Sheivachman to senior enterprise editor to do high-impact stories. He was covering corporate travel and meetings.
