Jeremy Fugleberg, a reporter at the Cincinnati Enquirer, has been named editor of the Sioux Falls Business Journal.
He replaces Jodi Schwan, who is leaving the publication to run a business. Fugleberg starts April 3.
Fugleberg has been at The Enquirer since February 2015 as an opinion writer, a presidential campaign reporter and as a neighborhoods reporter.
“It’s a great opportunity in a booming city,” said Fugleberg in a message to Talking Biz News. “And I have loved ones there, as well, so it’s home. I can’t wait to get started.”
Before that, he was at the Casper Star-Tribune in Wyoming from January 2011 as an energy reporter, business editor, assistant managing editor and opinion editor.
He was also a business reporter at the Rapid City Journal in South Dakota from August 2008 to August 2009.
Fugleberg has a bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University and a master’s in international security from the University of Kentucky.
The Business Journal is operated by the Sioux Falls Argus Leader in South Dakota.
