Malcolm Bordelon, the publisher of the Silicon Valley Business Journal, is stepping down from the position and leaving the publication Sept. 1 to pursue a new professional opportunity.
Editor J. Jennings Moss reports, “Bordelon, a longtime area resident, joined the SVBJ at the start of 2015 after a long career spent mostly in advertising and professional sports management.
“‘I held the Silicon Valley Business Journal in high regard before I joined them and now having been part of the organization will continue to do so,’ said Bordelon, 59. ‘I appreciate the publication’s dedication to providing valuable news and resources to the local business community.’
“Alex Orfinger, executive vice president of American City Business Journals, said a search was underway to find Bordelon’s successor. ‘We thank Malcolm for his service to the Silicon Valley Business Journal and wish him well in his future endeavors,’ Orfinger said.”
