The Silicon Valley Business Journal has hired Troy Wolverton to be its managing editor.
He will oversee coverage of commercial real estate, tech, venture capital, startups and small business.
Wolverton previously was a senior tech correspondent at Business Insider. Previously, he worked as a personal technology columnist, editor, and reporter for The Mercury News for more than 10 years. A longtime tech journalist who has covered everything from Amazon to Yahoo, he also worked as a senior writer at TheStreet.com and a reporter for CNET News.com.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri.
