The St. Louis Business Journal has named Erik Siemers as its new editor, effective Dec. 10.
A story on its website states, “Siemers comes to the job from the Portland Business Journal, where he has served as managing editor for the past five years. He began his American City Business Journals (ACBJ) career in Portland in 2008 as a reporter. Both the Portland Business Journal and the St. Louis Business Journal are part of ACBJ.
“Siemers graduated from University of North Dakota in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in communication.
“‘It’s a very talented staff, and I’m incredibly excited,’ Siemers said. ‘It’s a great opportunity to showcase a great business community.’
“Siemers succeeds Joe Dwyer, who left the company in October after serving as editor since 2016.”
