Automotive News has named Dan Shine as a senior editor.
Previously, Shine was director, external communications and WDI content editor at William Davidson Institute. He was also adjunct professor of journalism at the University of Michigan. He also held the same post at the University of Detroit Mercy.
He has also served as a spokesman and was a reporter and editor at the Detroit Free Press. Additionally, he served as reporter at The Dallas Morning News.
Shine received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University and holds a master’s degree in strategic communication from Purdue University.
