Shannon Pettypiece
NBC News Digital has hired Shannon Pettypiece as a senior White House reporter.
NBC News Digital includes respected brands such as NBCNews.com, tv.msnbc.com, TODAY.com, iVIllage, Breaking News, theGrio.com, NBCLatino.com and NBCPolitics.com.
Pettypiece previously worked at Bloomberg for 13 years, focusing specifically on the economy and health care. Her most recent position was as a White House reporter.
Prior to Bloomberg, Pettypiece worked at Crain’s Cleveland Business, where she reported on news stories regarding the city’s medical and information technology companies.
She has also worked as a reporter for Miami Today News, and as an intern for the New York Times, as well. She also graduated University of Michigan with a degree in Political Science and Government.
