She joins from The Fuller Project, the nonprofit newsroom that focuses on reporting on women, where she was editor-in-chief. She also served as managing editor of Georgia Public Broadcast. She has also worked as a news editor and field producer at CNN.
Shah also worked as a news editor/producer at the BBC, NBC, KPBS and TOLO News.
She has also worked at Moby Group in Kabul.
Shah has won two Murrow Awards and has a B.A. from University of California Berkeley and an MSc. From The London School of Economics.
