Erik Oster, a senior editor, agencies at Adweek, is leaving the publication on June 1.
He had recently been promoted to the new position.
Previously, he held the post of senior staff writer. Oster has been with Adweek for 5 years, joining as a staff writer.
“More to come when I’ve gathered my thoughts, but I am very grateful for the opportunities I’ve had over the years and the great people I’ve had the chance to work with,” he wrote on Twitter.
He is also a contributing writer at AgencySpy and was an assistant editor and books editor at The Faster Times. Oster was also editor-in-chief at Caution Horse and a contributing writer/editor at Goucher Review.
Oster is a B.A. in English, creative writing from Goucher College.
