Seeking Alpha’s Shvartsman departs

Daniel Shvartsman

Daniel Shvartsman, director of Marketplace for Seeking Alpha, is leaving the organization after more than eight years to pursue a few entrepreneurial ideas.

He previously was a senior editor and managing editor at Seeking Alpha. Shvartsman joined Seeking Alpha in 2012 as a contributor/writer.

For his first project, Shvartsman will be working on podcasting studio, Shortman Studios offering editing and production services as well as producing original podcasts.

Previously, Shvartsman was a feature writer at Global Comment/Arab Comment. He also served as Model UN coordinator at Walworth Barbour American International School.

Additionally, he has also worked as an editor and writer for 30music.com.

Shvartsman holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, history and Russian from Duke University and a master’s degree in government – diplomacy and conflict studies from The Interdisciplinary Center.
