Business reporter Marc Stiles has joined the Puget Sound Business Journal as a staff writer covering commercial real estate and government.
“He has written about or worked in real estate for about 15 years, including a short stint as a junior broker for Colliers International, which he said ‘gives me some perspective on what a broker goes through.’
“‘What I find interesting about commercial real estate is that the people in the business are skyline changers,’ he said, ‘and to write about something as important as a sense of place is to me very rewarding.’
“Stiles’ arrival will give PSBJ colleague Jeanne Lang Jones a chance to concentrate on the retail and residential real estate beats.
“During a 25-year career in newspapers, Stiles has won 33 awards for writing, editing, photography and page design.”
