Fast Company’s Katharine Schwab is joining BuzzFeed News as deputy tech editor.
Currently, she serves as deputy editor of Fast Company´s technology section, which she will be leaving on Nov. 10.
Her new role begins Jan. 3.
Schwab has been with Fast Company for over 5 years, previously serving as a writer, associate editor and staff editor.
She was also an editorial fellow at The Atlantic and has interned at The Seattle Times, San Francisco Chronicle/SFGATE, Stanford University and Los Angeles Magazine.
Schwab has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Stanford University.
