Politico has promoted Luiza Savage to the post of executive editor for growth.
Savage has been with Politico for over six years, previously serving as executive director for editorial initiatives, executive director for Canada, executive director for cross-platform content, editorial director for cross-platform content and editorial director for events.
She also served as Washington bureau chief for Maclean’s magazine in D.C. and was a Washington correspondent at The New York Sun. She was also Supreme court and Parliamentary reporter at the National Post.
She has also reported for the Ottawa Citizen.
Savage graduated from Harvard University.
