Saskatoon biz columnist hangs it up after a decade

Dwight Percy, who has written a business column for the Saskatoon Star Phoenix for more than a decade, has stopped to tend to his strategic planning business.

He wrote, “To all who have taken the time during the past 10 years to e-mail and tell me how philosophically flawed I am just because I think the business community makes the world go around, I have bad news for you. I didn’t listen to a word you said.

“To those who e-mailed to tell me I was absolutely right in my opinion, I always liked you best. And I would be terribly remiss if I did not take this last opportunity to say thanks to the best business teachers I could have ever had — my parents.

“This column has been great fun because I integrated it with many other things I do in my consulting business — strategic planning, marketing plans, speaking engagements and media relations. As a result of going to where my clients are, I have written this column from almost every corner of the province.”
