A new Saskatchewan business news site has hired the managing editor of the Prince Albert Daily Herald to join its staff.
Peter Lozinski will start at AllSaskatchewan on June 28.
“I treasure my time with the Herald and would encourage anyone who gets a chance to work here to do so,” said Lozinski. “There are great stories here in Prince Albert. I’m grateful to the organization for all the support they’ve given me. I’ve grown a lot as a person and journalist here but I’m excited about this new chapter in my career.”
AllSaskatchewan.com started earlier this year and mirrors the sites alllNovaScotia, allNewfoundlandLabrador and allNewBrunswick, which have more than 13,000 subscribers and a hard paywall.
Lozinski has been at the Prince Albert paper since November 2016. He previously was a reporter for the Moose Jaw Times Herald.
On Twitter, Lozinski said that he’s been interested in a career in business journalism since he graduated from Ryerson Universuty in 2014.
