Chris Cramer, the head of video at The Wall Street Journal, sent out the following announcement on Wednesday:

I am thrilled to tell you that Sara Murray, currently a Congressional Reporter in Washington, will be moving to New York to join our video team as a multimedia producer and fulltime anchor/reporter.  She will also continue to write for our print and digital platforms, as part of our Management bureau, where she will write stories about women in the workforce as well as Washington’s influence on business life.

Sara has been with the Journal since 2008,splitting her time between economics and political beats. During the last U.S. election, she covered Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign.

She has been a frequent contributor to WSJ Live and WSJ.com’s expanding video coverage including anchoring the “News Hub” as well as producing and writing news packages.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of Maryland.

Sara will be a fabulous new asset in our plans to grow and develop our video journalism and will join the team in September.
